Job Description




We are seeking a Contract Accounts Payable Clerk to join an exciting and dynamic Accounting Department. The position will last anywhere from 6-12 weeks. Candidate will review and post receipts as well as payments to appropriate ledgers, spreadsheets, records, and databases. The A/P clerk will also perform general office duties associated with processing receipts, checks, correspondence, and answering accounts payable and receivable inquiries and follow ups. Other responsibilities include auditing invoices against purchase orders, researching discrepancies, approving for payment, coordinating proper signatures and mailing of checks, and investigating problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills.
