We are looking for a Freelance Technical Designer for knitsl for a well know corporate retail company.. This is a hybrid freelance position and operates 3 days onsite in their NYC office. 

• Hourly pay rate is up to $40.00 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Executes the technical design process from development to final fit.  
• Analyzes and evaluates garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
• Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.  
• Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors / factories for approvals and corrections.  
• Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure the integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.

Required Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, or equivalent experience.  
• 5+ years experience in technical design.
• Excellent problem solver.
• Ability to maintain composure in a stressful situation.
