Our client, a personal care manufacturing company, is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team! This will be a onsite role working out of their office in Oxford. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience with validation activities and supporting cGMP compliance through audits. 
  • Contract Role: Approx. 6 months
  • Pay: $46/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
  • Author and execute validation protocols (cleaning, process, systems), assess the impact of changes and deviations on validated states, and ensure all processes meet regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, review, and approve non-conformances, quality complaints, and investigations to ensure timely resolution at the Oxford location.
  • Identify and spearhead continuous improvement opportunities while developing, testing, and implementing comprehensive quality guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and QC to support new product development, existing product innovation, and cleaning process development (CIP/COP).
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and mentor team members/colleagues in root cause problem-solving techniques.
  • Drive an organizational culture shift toward data-driven, fact-based, and quality-oriented decision-making while maintaining operational output and capacity.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science (Engineering, Microbiology, or Chemistry) with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Maintains deep knowledge of cGMP environments and global regulatory standards, including FDA, Health Canada, and EMA guidelines.
  • Possesses demonstrated, hands-on experience in cleaning validation activities and supporting cGMP compliance through audits.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications and experienced in using ERP systems like SAP to manage workflows.
  • Skilled at driving team engagement, fostering cross-functional cohesion, and building strong relationships to advance organizational goals.
  • Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prioritize complex workloads effectively in a team-oriented setting.
