A highly respected, internationally recognized nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner I to join its collaborative Human Resources team. Conduct workplace investigations and provide guidance on corrective action, conflict resolution, and employment law compliance.
Partner with leadership on organizational change, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
Analyze HR metrics, turnover trends, and employee engagement data to recommend proactive solutions that improve retention and organizational effectiveness.
Support leadership development through manager coaching, employee training, and performance management initiatives.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on engagement, talent development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness projects.
Assist with policy development, handbook updates, and HR best practices.
Deliver portions of New Employee Orientation and facilitate HR-related training programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.
Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, performance management, manager coaching, and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
Ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders at all levels.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience using HR metrics to drive business decisions is highly desirable.
Preferred:
Healthcare, nonprofit, academic, or research environment experience.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Master's degree.
