We're recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting & Consolidation for a client seeking an accounting professional with a strong public accounting background to support global consolidations, financial reporting, SEC reporting, and corporate accounting activities within a collaborative and high-performing finance team.
  • Location: Hybrid in Gardena, CA (3 days onsite)
  • Salary: $96,000–$107,000 + bonus
Responsibilities
  • Assist with worldwide financial consolidations, including preparing consolidation schedules, analyses, and journal entries.
  • Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process for corporate entities through journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
  • Prepare financial statement analyses and maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual SEC reporting, including preparation of 10-Q and 10-K supporting schedules.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and debt covenant calculations.
  • Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests and provide reporting support to management.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and assist with internal and external audit requests.
  • Participate in government financial surveys, system implementations, and other accounting projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various finance and accounting initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • CPA preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four or top-tier public accounting firm, or a combination of public and corporate accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidation accounting.
  • Experience supporting SEC reporting (10-Q/10-K) is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools such as OneStream, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
