Our client, a global media company, is looking for a Cash Applications Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of cash applications, is highly analytical, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment!

Role Overview:
- Contract Role: 6 months, possible extension
- Pay: $33-36/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
- Schedule: Onsite M-F, 9am to 6pm, 1-hour unpaid lunch
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret domestic and international bank statement and lockbox information
- Prepare and reconcile internal cash logs
- Determine cash applications by analyzing bank information vs. aging reports for various billing systems
- Ensure all cash receipts are posted and applied to client accounts
- Prepare cash application related journal entries as needed
- Gather data, reports, and invoices for various ad-hoc audit requests
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration is preferred
- 2+ years of cash applications experience
- Prior experience working in a media, entertainment, or a studio environment is highly preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Prior experience using SAP is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
