Our client, a leading global retail organization, is seeking a Merchandise Planner to support international business operations through sales forecasting, inventory planning, and business analysis. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to drive sales performance, optimize inventory investments, and support strategic planning initiatives across digital and retail channels.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical planner who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborating across merchandising, inventory, forecasting, and logistics functions.

Responsibilities:
Manage sales plans and inventory levels for international digital business channels.
Analyze sales, inventory performance, and business trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Support assortment planning, product launch strategies, and markdown planning initiatives.
Develop forecasts and planning recommendations to maximize sales and profitability.
Participate in monthly and seasonal planning processes, including inventory and sales reforecasting.
Monitor inventory levels and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate allocation across channels.
Track inventory receipts and adjust plans as needed to support changing business needs.
Partner with merchandising, forecasting, deployment, and logistics teams to align inventory strategies.
Prepare and distribute reporting and business analyses to support decision-making.
Respond to ad hoc planning and analytical requests from business partners.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning, Inventory Deployment, Demand Forecasting, Finance, Logistics, or a related analytical role.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing forecasts, inventory, and business performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within retail, apparel, beauty, consumer products, or related industries.
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as MicroStrategy.
International planning or inventory management experience.
