Our client, a large CPaaS company, is looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully remote role working out of the central or eastern time zones. The successful candidate will have at least three years of payroll tax and compliance expertise, knowledge of global payroll tax regulations, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills!

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 3 months
• Pay: $35-39/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
• Schedule: M-F, standard work hours within ET or CT time zone schedules

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate payroll tax filings
• Analyze and ensure compliance with global payroll tax laws (income tax, social security, local taxes, etc.)
• Assist with issuing year-end tax forms (W-2, P60, T4, etc.)
• Assist with internal and external payroll tax audits
• Communicate with third-party payroll providers to manage delivery, compliance, and escalations of tax issues
• Analyze payroll data for reporting and reconciliation

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll tax and compliance experience, ideally within a global or multinational work environment
• Advanced knowledge of global payroll tax regulations
• Expertise with payroll systems (Workday experience is a plus)
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High level of confidentiality and professional ethics
