We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Marketing Operations for a top media & entertainment company to join their team out of their NYC offices! This role is responsible for managing transactional subscriber communications across email and in-app messaging. You'll oversee legally required communications, including price changes, terms of service updates, billing failures, and other critical subscriber notifications. The ideal candidate has experience working within CMS environments, enjoys learning new proprietary systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Location: New York City (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
  • Pay Rate: $54/hour
  • Contract Duration: Through August 2027

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage transactional communication templates across email and in-app messaging, including price changes, terms of service updates, billing failures, and other critical subscriber communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Engineering, to ensure seamless execution of communication plans.
  • Analyze campaign and communication performance data to measure effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Work across technical teams supporting UMP and Cannonball.
  • Set up and execute tests to achieve KPIs and business goals.
  • Ensure all communications comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar for transactional communications to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Operations, Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, or Marketing Operations.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and SSJS.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
