Job Description

We are looking for a US Business Development Manager to join their growing team!  This is a unique opportunity to build the company's presence in the U.S. market from the ground up. This is not a traditional sales role—it's a business development and market-building position that combines clinical credibility, commercial strategy, and hands-on execution. You'll work closely with leadership to establish the foundation for long-term growth within the medical manufacturing industry.

  • Location: Remote (must be located near a major airport; national travel required)
  • Travel: Regular/monthly travel to the US headquarters in Nashville
  • Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000 plus bonus and incentives

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the company's presence in the U.S. market by building relationships with clinics, therapists, and healthcare institutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the pediatric, adult neuro, and VA healthcare markets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and clinical discussions.
  • Build clinical demand while translating product value into commercial opportunities.
  • Generate and develop a qualified pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Establish reference sites for product demonstrations, including VA and pediatric facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the parent company to support market development initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations on go-to-market strategy, pricing, positioning, and long-term growth.
  • Track market insights, pipeline activity, and performance through structured reporting.

Initial Goals (First 6 Months):

  • Identify and prioritize 10–20 target institutions.
  • Engage 5 key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Execute 10 product demos or clinical try-outs.
  • Establish 5 reference sites for demonstrations.
  • Present a go-to-market strategy for the U.S. market.

Required Qualifications:

  • Clinical background preferred (PT, OT, ATP, or similar).
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in complex medical device or medtech sales, including capital equipment.
  • Experience working within the U.S. healthcare system, including clinics, rehabilitation centers, VA facilities, or similar environments.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, market-building environment.
  • Ability to bridge clinical expertise with commercial strategy.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage pipeline development and reporting.
  • Self-starter who thrives independently and takes initiative.

What Success Looks Like:

  • A clear understanding of U.S. market opportunities.
  • A validated go-to-market strategy, including pricing and positioning recommendations.
  • Strong reference sites established across key markets.
  • A qualified pipeline ready for expansion.
  • A scalable, data-driven plan for long-term U.S. growth.
