Job Description


We are hiring a Creative Designer to join a top entertainment company in Orlando, FL. This freelance role will run until end of December 2026 and will be hybrid in office (Monday – Thursday onsite, Friday remote)

  • Pay Rate: $35-$40/HR

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the design team to create unique collectible merchandise from concept through final production, with a focus on production, final art asset creation, and sample approvals.

  • Prepare mechanical files for factory production, ensuring all specifications are accurate and maintaining the established file organization and archiving system.

  • Assist in developing guide-driven artwork with a strong understanding of pin production limitations, composition, and layout.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Sourcing, Brand Merchandise, and Strategy, to develop creative solutions while ensuring products meet brand standards.

  • Participate in design reviews, stakeholder feedback sessions, and one-on-one meetings throughout the creative process.

  • Develop presentations for internal creative reviews and maintain accurate archival art files throughout product development.

  • Manage vendor communications to uphold design standards and oversee creative projects from initial concept through final execution.

  • Review vendor-submitted design concepts and timelines, providing art direction, character overlays, color accuracy notes, and creative feedback to ensure alignment with brand standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in Illustration, Graphic Design, Product Development, or a related field; experience with a fast-paced, consumer-facing brand is a plus.

  • Experience creating creative and design assets, with a strong understanding of production setup and final mechanical art files. A portfolio demonstrating mechanical file creation is highly preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

  • Experience with presentation tools including Adobe Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong layout, composition, and overall graphic design skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to take ownership of projects while working collaboratively as part of a creative team.
