We're partnering with a well-known consumer retail organization seeking a highly organized Store Operations Specialist to support the Field Engagement & Events team in executing store openings, associate engagement programs, and consumer-facing in-store events. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing projects, coordinating event logistics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Location: Columbus, OH (100% onsite)

  • Duration: August 24th, 2026 - Nov 27th, 2026

  • Pay Rate: $24.28/hour

  • Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project plans, timelines, key milestones, and deliverables for store engagement initiatives and events.

  • Coordinate all event logistics for store grand openings, including vendor management and on-site execution support.

  • Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate project documentation.

  • Communicate project updates, meeting recaps, timelines, and key milestones to stakeholders and partners.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external vendors.

  • Support associate engagement programs and pilot consumer-facing store events.

  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in event planning, meeting planning, project coordination, or a related field.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.

  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for events.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
