We're partnering with a well-known consumer retail organization seeking a highly organized Store Operations Specialist to support the Field Engagement & Events team in executing store openings, associate engagement programs, and consumer-facing in-store events. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing projects, coordinating event logistics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Location: Columbus, OH (100% onsite)
Duration: August 24th, 2026 - Nov 27th, 2026
Pay Rate: $24.28/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week
Responsibilities:
Manage project plans, timelines, key milestones, and deliverables for store engagement initiatives and events.
Coordinate all event logistics for store grand openings, including vendor management and on-site execution support.
Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate project documentation.
Communicate project updates, meeting recaps, timelines, and key milestones to stakeholders and partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external vendors.
Support associate engagement programs and pilot consumer-facing store events.
Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of experience in event planning, meeting planning, project coordination, or a related field.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed for events.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
