Our client, a large beauty retail company, is looking for a Part-Time Accountant to join their team! This will be a fully remote role working out of the eastern time zone. The successful candidate will be prior corporate accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communication effectively with senior leadership and various stakeholders.

Role Overview:
- Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hr on W2, non-exempt
- Contract Role: 6 months, possibility of an extension
- Schedule: 12-15 hours working no less than 3 days per week, flexible between 9AM to 5PM, fully remote
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the General Ledger, managerial reports, and financial statements
- Preparing and reconciling journal entries
- Creating and monitoring purchase orders in SAP Ariba
- Assisting with new vendor creation into internal systems
- Partnering with invoicing team to implement new purchase order procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, graduate degree (or workings towards) is a plus
- 1+ years corporate accounting experience (internships included)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, x/vlookups, etc.)
- Experience with SAP Ariba is a plus
