We are seeking a highly engaged and culturally aware Community Strategist with expertise in YouTube Shorts and long-form/VOD content with to support day-to-day social media community management and performance tracking. This role will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure a consistent, authentic, and responsive presence across social platforms.

• This is a hybrid position, 2 days onsite in NYC office. 2 month contract.
• Hourly pay rate: $40.00

Responsibilities:

Community Engagement - You Tube

• Lead daily community engagement across social media platforms, fostering meaningful interactions that strengthen brand affinity and cultivate loyal audiences.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure all interactions align with established brand values and communication guidelines.
• Build authentic relationships with followers, advocates, and highly engaged community members.
• Monitor conversations and identify emerging sentiment, recurring questions, consumer feedback, and potential opportunities for engagement.

Owned Social Channels

• Manage and respond to comments and interactions across priority social platforms.
• Engage thoughtfully with community members to deepen relationships and encourage ongoing participation.
• Escalate trends, concerns, and feedback to appropriate internal stakeholders when necessary.

Earned Social Engagement

• Identify high-impact user-generated content and relevant cultural conversations for potential brand participation.
• Contribute timely, culturally relevant responses and comments in earned social spaces.
• Ensure community interactions demonstrate strong judgment, brand alignment, and social fluency.

Social Listening, Analytics & Insights 

• Track and analyze key community engagement metrics, including impressions, engagement rates, comments, replies, and other performance indicators.
• Monitor social conversations to identify emerging themes, audience interests, and content opportunities.
• Deliver regular insights and recommendations to support content strategy and community growth.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on ad hoc social media initiatives and projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in social media, community management, digital marketing, or a related field (internship experience considered).
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, best practices, and the evolving digital landscape.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engagement metrics and translate findings into actionable insights.
