We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Integration & Financial Systems Lead to join a fast-paced implementation team. The successful candidate must be able to ramp up rapidly, operate effectively in a high-pressure environment, and immediately contribute to the finalization of design, configuration, integration development, testing, and deployment activities. This role is particularly suited to an SAP professional with experience in financial systems integration, General Ledger, accounting interfaces, data transformation, banking/financial conversions, and hands-on SAP configuration.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP experience, with experience in SAP Financials/General Ledger.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing SAP integrations.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP GL posting, account determination, posting rules, and financial interfaces.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and the flow of transactions into the General Ledger.
- Proven experience with data mapping, transformation, source-to-target mapping, and interface specifications.
- Experience integrating SAP with external applications using APIs, middleware, web services, files, or other integration mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with SAP configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with integration testing and UAT, including defect identification and resolution.
- Ability to analyze complex data discrepancies and trace transactions across multiple systems.
- Strong technical documentation and solution-design capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP integration technologies such as SAP Integration Suite/CPI, APIs, IDocs, web services, OData, RFC, or middleware platforms.
- Experience integrating SAP with loan origination, banking, lending, or financial services platforms.
- Experience with large-scale mergers, acquisitions, insourcing, banking conversions, or financial transformations.
- Government or public-sector implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliation, and audit requirements.
