We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Product Management / Product Manager with strong expertise in investment data, data validation, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and UAT. This role will work at the intersection of business, technology, and investment operations to ensure accurate movement and processing of investment-related data across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial instruments, security master data, holdings, positions, portfolio accounting, and IBOR/ABOR transactions, along with hands-on SQL and data analysis capabilities.

  • Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

  • Contract Duration: 9+ Months (Possible Temp-to-Hire)

  • Rate Range: $60–75/hr on W2

  • Only W2 Candidates, NO C2C

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business and system requirements related to investment products, portfolios, securities, transactions, and market data.

  • Perform Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) and document data flows between upstream source systems and downstream applications.

  • Validate data transformation rules, field mappings, and business logic.

  • Perform data reconciliation between source systems and target platforms to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Support data migration, integration, and system enhancement initiatives by validating data accuracy and completeness.

  • Collaborate with business users, operations teams, developers, and QA teams to validate functional and data requirements.

  • Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices based on business requirements.

  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test execution, defect reporting, and validation of fixes.

  • Use SQL and reporting tools to analyze data and validate business requirements.

  • Monitor data feeds and system interfaces to ensure timely and accurate processing of investment data.

  • Support production issues by investigating data discrepancies, reconciliation breaks, and processing issues.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a related financial technology role.

  • Hands-on experience with Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM).

  • Strong experience with data reconciliation, validation, and data quality analysis.

  • Experience supporting UAT, test execution, defect management, and validation of fixes.

  • Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment data.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical and functional requirements.

  • Experience working with enterprise investment platforms and downstream reporting applications.

  • Familiarity with IBOR/ABOR architecture and investment transaction flows.

  • Experience working with business, operations, technology, and QA teams in a highly collaborative environment.

  • Experience supporting production data issues and reconciliation breaks.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid position based in Boston, MA.

  • Contract duration is 9+ months, with potential for conversion to full-time.

  • This is a hands-on role focused heavily on investment data, STTM, reconciliation, SQL, and UAT.

  • Candidates should be comfortable working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
