A leading Venture Capital & Alternative Investment Firm is seeking an exceptional Executive / Personal Assistant to support a senior member of the leadership team and provide backup support to the firm’s CEO. This is an opportunity for a smart, polished, highly capable, and NYC-savvy professional to join a small, sophisticated team at an exciting point of growth. The firm invests in innovative, high-growth businesses and works closely with entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and other influential leaders across a broad range of industries. Candidates must have a minimum of 5–7+ years of applicable EA/PA experience, and a Bachelor’s degree is required. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting at a very senior level, ideally within venture capital, private equity, alternative asset management, investment banking, or another highly demanding professional environment. The successful candidate should be highly capable, confident, polished, flexible, naturally proactive, impressive without being stiff, sophisticated but down-to-earth, comfortable operating around highly accomplished people, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. This is not a role for someone who simply manages a calendar—the successful candidate will be a true partner who can anticipate needs, exercise excellent judgment, operate with an innate sense of urgency, and make things happen without being asked twice. - Salary depends on experience, with a $130,000–$175,000+ base salary, plus discretionary bonus eligibility, with potential total compensation of approximately $200,000–$225,000

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a senior executive and collaborate with the CEO’s existing EA, serving as a trusted right hand across both professional and personal priorities.
- Manage complex business and personal calendars, scheduling, and competing priorities.
- Coordinate domestic and international business and personal travel, with the firm’s international travel profile continuing to expand.
- Serve as a highly responsive point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals and senior executives.
- Anticipate needs, learn preferences, and proactively manage details before they become issues.
- Act as a gatekeeper and trusted partner, using sound judgment regarding when and how to escalate matters.
- Take ownership of action items from conception through completion—if given a task, figure out how to get it done.
- Prepare the executive for meetings, travel, and changing priorities.
- Provide occasional personal support and assist with personal scheduling and logistics as needed.
- Partner with the CEO’s EA and share certain personal assistant responsibilities.
- Provide backup support to the CEO as needed.
- Help coordinate and manage special projects and ad hoc initiatives.
- Maintain an exceptionally high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
- Support a fast-moving executive who may operate on a 24/7 mentality, requiring flexibility and responsiveness when circumstances demand it.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5–7+ years of applicable Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant experience.
- Experience supporting a C-level executive, founder, investor, or senior leader.
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, alternative asset management, investment banking, or a similarly sophisticated environment strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding judgment and discretion.
- A proactive, anticipatory approach—you see what needs to happen before being asked.
- The confidence and professionalism to interact with high-level individuals.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to represent an executive extremely well.
- A genuine “figure it out” mentality.
- The ability to move seamlessly between strategic business priorities and highly detailed logistical matters.
- Comfort working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where everyone pitches in.
- Flexibility and a willingness to occasionally step outside a traditional EA job description.
- Strong NYC awareness and the ability to navigate the city, vendors, restaurants, travel logistics, and last-minute requests with ease.
- Excellent proficiency with Mac and Google Workspace.
