Our client, a global fashion accessory manufacturer, is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, have accounting or finance experience within the retail industry, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment!

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 4 months (leave of absence coverage)
• Pay: $53-57/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
• Schedule: Standard 9AM-5PM, Hybrid 3 days onsite

Responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end close activities and reconcile transactions
• Manage the General Ledger alongside other teams on internal / external controls and balance sheet analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting responsibilities
• Compare and analyze financial plans versus actuals
• Support cost optimization initiatives and evaluating financial returns
• Prepare reports and presentations by summarizing data and performing financial analysis
• Participate in system upgrades and enhancements as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration is required
• 3+ years of corporate accounting or financial analysis experience (month-end close processes, budgeting/forecasting experience, financial modeling, etc.)
• Experience working within the retail, fashion, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred
• Proven technical and data analysis skills (Excel, SAP, Essbase, SQL, MS Access, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with executive leadership and with cross-functional teams
