Our client, a media entertainment company, is looking for a Reporting Analyst to join their team! This will be a onsite role working out of their office in NYC. The successful candidate will have Bachelor’s degree and over 3 years of analytical experience with proficiency in data collection and reporting tools. 

Role Overview:

  • Contract Role: 9 months
  • Pay: $38.42/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate, validate, and analyze accounts receivable (AR) schedules, cash collections, and DSO metrics across multiple business units (Cable, Streaming).
  • Prepare the SOX-compliant Worldwide Bad Debt package, ensuring all activities adhere to strict controls and support audit requirements.
  • Execute month-end close responsibilities by reconciling subledgers, general ledgers, and aging accounts across various revenue streams.
  • Perform variance analysis and collaborate on creating dashboards, key metrics, and reports for executive leadership and CFO meetings.
  • Participate in risk assessments, compliance audits, and cross-functional system integration initiatives to improve global reporting processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Over 3 years of related analytical experience and a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with PowerPoint, and familiarity with Oracle Fusion (preferred) and Google Workspace (a plus) .
  • Proficient with data collection and reporting tools, with media or entertainment industry experience considered a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to resolve roadblocks and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, alongside a commitment to integrity, teamwork, and meeting tight deadlines.
