The Head of Finance/BU CFO will serve as a key strategic and financial partner to the CFO and business leaders across the companies broad portfolio of retail, consumer, hospitality and manufacturing business units. The role will lead enterprise financial planning, forecasting, performance management and management reporting, providing clear visibility into business performance, profitability, cash flow and working capital. The Head of Finance will also partner across the organization to improve performance, standardize financial processes and reporting, support strategic initiatives and build a high-performing finance organization.

  • $200,000 - $250,000 + sign-on + benefits

Responsibilities:
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning across the enterprise.
  • Develop standardized consolidated financial reporting, KPI dashboards and analytics, providing visibility into performance, key variances, risks and opportunities.
  • Lead the monthly financial and operating review process across the portfolio.
  • Provide analysis of revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital and other key financial and operational drivers.
  • Oversee treasury and cash flow management, including liquidity planning, cash forecasting, banking relationships and working-capital optimization.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and execute opportunities to improve profitability, operating performance and return on invested capital.
  • Develop financial models and business cases supporting strategic initiatives, capital expenditures, investments and significant business decisions.
  • Support acquisition evaluation, integration and post-acquisition performance measurement.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of financial processes, systems, reporting and analytics across the enterprise.
  • Participate with senior management in developing and executing strategic and financial roadmaps.
  • Support the CFO with Board, ownership, lender and other financial reporting and analysis as required.
  • Build, develop and lead a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the continued growth and complexity of the enterprise.
Required Qualifications:
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, business finance, strategic finance or related leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Experience in a multi-entity, consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, private equity or acquisitive environment preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to translate financial information into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
