Our client is seeking a results-driven Production Procurement Director to support the Production Procurement function across active and upcoming productions. Reporting to the VP, Production Procurement, this role will work closely with Production Procurement leadership, Production Finance, Corporate Finance, Legal, Studio Operations, production stakeholders, and external suppliers to drive sourcing execution, supplier coordination, cost management, negotiations, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating independently with SVP-level and senior executives, leading executive meetings, creating structure in evolving environments, and translating procurement data and production needs into clear, actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities:
Own and manage procurement operating routines, including weekly pipeline reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly performance cadences.
Lead meetings and executive discussions with senior production and procurement leadership.
Manage procurement workflows, negotiations, supplier coordination, and follow-up for production-related initiatives.
Serve as the enterprise administrator and process owner for Asana, maintaining initiative tracking, milestones, action items, and cross-functional coordination.
Build and lead procurement analytics capabilities, including dashboards, KPIs, performance metrics, and data-driven reporting.
Partner with category leaders and Finance to ensure procurement performance data is reliable, timely, and aligned with FP&A reporting requirements.
Standardize repeatable procurement processes covering intake, prioritization, stakeholder updates, vendor comparisons, approvals, and escalations.
Drive consistent use of procurement tools, shared trackers, and reporting routines.
Provide production leadership with visibility into procurement progress, blockers, vendor status, savings, risks, and value delivery.
Develop executive-level reporting and presentations communicating procurement performance, pipeline health, and value creation.
Identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
Support change management initiatives related to new tools, operating routines, and reporting requirements.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers to drive time-sensitive production procurement priorities to closure.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, production operations, production finance, sourcing, vendor management, or management consulting.
Experience working in complex, fast-paced, and time-sensitive business environments.
Proven experience working independently with senior executives, including SVP-level stakeholders or above.
Experience building and managing operating cadences, governance routines, and performance management frameworks.
Strong analytical capabilities with experience developing procurement dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven reporting.
Demonstrated ability to manage negotiations, vendor relationships, and procurement workflows.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
Ability to translate production requirements, vendor issues, and procurement data into actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated success prioritizing strategically and delivering results in highly cross-functional environments.
Process improvement experience using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to create structure, drive follow-up, and close open items.

Experience implementing procurement technology, reporting, or workflow transformations.
Experience using AI tools to improve Excel-based analysis, reporting, and procurement workflows.
