Our client, a leading global entertainment company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. This is a fully onsite position based in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have prior FP&A experience, possess strong problem solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities,

Role Overview:
  • Contract Role: 5-6 months
  • Pay: $41-46/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
  • Schedule: Fully onsite M-F, 9AM to 6PM with an hour of unpaid lunch
Responsibilities:
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for assigned business areas.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, reporting tools, and ad hoc analyses to evaluate business performance.
  • Monitor operating expenses and financial results, highlighting risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and leadership teams.
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including financial analysis, reporting, and related deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, financial planning, or financial analysis.
  • Prior experience within the media, entertainment, or news industry is preferred.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and other financial analysis functions.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred; experience with Hyperion or SAP S/4HANA is also highly valued.
  • Experience utilizing reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to business partners and stakeholders.
