We're looking for a Lead Data Platform Engineer to play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and governing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership while helping shape the future of data infrastructure across cloud and analytics environments.

• Pay Rate Range: $65-70/HR on W2 ONLY

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Airflow, Datameer, and more
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, automated deployments
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response
• Optimize performance, scalability, security, and cloud spend
• Partner closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and cross-functional teams to enable efficient data workflows
• Mentor engineers, establish platform standards, and provide technical leadership across the organization

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related experience
• Deep expertise with Snowflake, Tableau, and MicroStrategy administration and support
• Strong AWS knowledge, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience supporting analytics and data platforms, including Airflow and Datameer
• Strong scripting skills using Python, PySpark, Bash, or similar technologies
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges and enabling data-driven decision-making

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake or Redshift
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, secrets management, and cost optimization
• Exposure to AI/ML platform deployments and MLOps practices
• Experience working within retail, eCommerce, or consumer-focused environments
