A Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Compliance to support the Office of IT Hygiene. This role will play a key part in ensuring that IT Hygiene practices, standards, and governance requirements are consistently followed across the enterprise. The analyst will focus on creating sustainable reporting mechanisms, assessing compliance and performance, identifying trends and risks, and providing actionable insights to IT and business leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong Jira and ServiceNow expertise, experience serving as a Process SME, and a background in defining, implementing, and maturing operating models and governance processes.

• Contract Duration: 3+ Months

• Rate Range: $40–$50/hr W2

Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analytics

• Design, develop, and operationalize sustainable reporting mechanisms for IT Hygiene initiatives.

• Create reporting that measures adoption, maturity, compliance, and value realization.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and ServiceNow Platform/Performance Analytics.

• Produce and distribute monthly compliance and performance reports to leadership.

• Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.

Compliance & Governance

• Collaborate with IT leaders and initiative owners to assess compliance with established IT Hygiene policies, standards, and metrics.

• Identify, document, and communicate instances of non-compliance and emerging risks.

• Investigate drivers behind unusually strong or weak performance across teams and domains.

• Provide actionable recommendations to improve IT Hygiene policies, processes, and measurement frameworks.

• Partner with compliance, risk, and governance teams to ensure consistent interpretation and application of IT Hygiene standards.

Process & Operating Model

• Serve as a Process SME for IT Hygiene-related processes and governance.

• Define, implement, and mature operating models that support consistent process execution.

• Ensure teams follow established processes, governance standards, and compliance requirements.

• Support process oversight across Scrum Masters, Technical Program Managers (TPMs), and Business Analysts.

• Drive process consistency, continuous improvement, and governance maturity across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• 6–10 years of experience in IT compliance, governance, analytics, business analysis, or related functions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful trends and patterns.

• Proven experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and compliance metrics.

• Strong experience with Jira – Must Have.

• Experience with ServiceNow – Required.

• Experience serving as a Process SME.

• Experience defining, implementing, and maturing operating models.

• Understanding of IT governance, compliance, risk, and audit processes.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to IT and business leadership.

• Experience developing enterprise-level compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms.

• Experience working with IT Hygiene, technology risk, vulnerability management, asset management, or similar IT governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level Business Analyst who combines compliance/governance expertise with strong reporting and process management skills.

They should be:

• Highly proficient in Jira and comfortable working with ServiceNow.

• Able to operate as a Process SME and establish sustainable operating models.

• Strong in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.

• Comfortable identifying compliance gaps and explaining the underlying causes.

• Experienced in working with IT leaders and cross-functional teams.

• Able to translate complex compliance and performance data into clear executive-level insights.

• Proactive in identifying risks and recommending process improvements.

• Comfortable working in a large, complex enterprise environment.
