We are hiring a Junior Digital Designer for a top client in the media/publishing space. The ideal candidate is early in their design career and brings foundational design skills and a hands-on, collaborative mindset to a role built around growing their expertise. This is an overall support role the candidate will help other designers on the team, execute the production and cross-channel adaptation of creative assets, and build experience across the full creative process, working closely with the Art Director, Senior Designer, and Program Management team.

- Contract: October 12, 2026 January 31, 2027
- Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Responsibilities
- Support the creative development of captivating digital creative assets, including graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia content, for owned and operated channels such as website, email, and app, as well as paid media platforms
- Execute the production and adaptation of creative assets across channels, resizing and adjusting existing campaign creative to meet the specs and needs of each platform
- Support other designers on the team as needed, contributing to a collaborative team workflow while continuing to build your own expertise
- Ensure all visuals, messaging, and interactive elements are aligned with the creative vision and meet the brand standards of individual brands within the portfolio
- Apply strategic thinking and design principles across all aspects of creative development, executing designs that reflect Condé Nast brands and effectively drive consumer business growth
- Collaborate with the Art Director, Senior Designer, and Program Management team to leverage data and analytics, contributing to insights on creative performance and assisting with recommendations for asset updates
- Maintain regular communication with the Project Management team and colleagues, providing updates on project timelines and progress
- Stay current with the competitive landscape, industry best practices, and emerging design and consumer revenue generation trends
- Manage and organize raw media and finished assets, ensuring proper storage and backup for internal and external accessibility
Required Qualifications:
- 23 years of experience as a designer; recent graduates welcome, with an interest in building a career in consumer-facing, revenue-generating campaign creative
- Ability to share a portfolio that demonstrates exposure to a variety of campaign types, an understanding of design principles applied in practice, strong attention to detail, and participation within the creative process
- Foundational understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and UX design
- Knowledge of ADA-compliant design is desired
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation, good UX/UI design, and social media principles is a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects; working knowledge of G Suite and project management systems
- Great verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative, cross-functional team
