Our client, a global consumer products organization, is seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant for a 6-month contract opportunity. This role will partner closely with tax, accounting, legal, and finance teams to support tax compliance, policy development, project management, and process improvement initiatives. Candidates with experience in fashion, apparel, retail, wholesale, or other product-based manufacturing environments are strongly preferred.

Role Overview:
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
- Duration: 6-Month Contract
- Compensation: $90-$95/hour W2 (No C2C or 1099)
Responsibilities:
- Support tax compliance, reporting, and special projects
- Develop and maintain tax policies and documentation
- Assist with tax research, technical memos, and SOX controls
- Review international tax filings and analyses
- Partner with internal teams and external advisors on tax matters
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
- CPA required
- 5+ years of corporate tax and/or public accounting experience
- Experience with federal, state, and international tax compliance
- Knowledge of SOX controls and tax accounting
- Strong Excel, communication, and project management skills
- Experience with SAP, OneSource, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, or similar systems preferred
- Retail, apparel, consumer products, or manufacturing experience preferred
