Our client is looking to fill the role of Sr. Software Engineer. This Software Development group engineers the core brokerage and risk technology at the heart of our Client’s platform. Spanning Enterprise Architecture, Market Risk, UI Brokerage, Client Integration, Client Accounts, Equity Distribution, and multiple specialized brokerage development teams, the group builds the systems that execute trades, manage risk, and serve clients worldwide. Members tackle complex engineering challenges at massive scale, shaping the tools that define modern electronic trading. It's a dream environment for developers who want to build sophisticated financial technology.

• Salary Range:  200,000 USD - 230,000 USD
• This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office/2 days remote):  Greenwich, CT

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications and services supporting rapidly growing client base.
• Build software that supports the expansion of brokerage business into new markets around the world.
• Optimize and refactor existing code for improved reliability and performance.
• Write and maintain design and engineering documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or related degree.
• Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience.
• At least 3 years of Java programming experience.
• Python, Perl or similar scripting language experience.
• Relational databases experience (Oracle).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
