Responsibilities:
  • Write, edit and refine copy for product and plan pages, acquisition and retention journeys, comparison pages, landing pages, educational resources, FAQs, blogs and other digital experiences.
  • Develop compelling headlines, value propositions, calls to action and benefit-focused messaging that make complex energy topics easier to understand and support conversion goals.
  • Adapt writing to distinct brand voices, customer segments and regional markets while maintaining clarity, consistency and accessibility.
  • Partner with the SEO & AEO Analyst to incorporate search intent, topical coverage, answer-first structure, natural-language questions, metadata and internal-linking recommendations.

  • Work with Content Specialists and cross-functional stakeholders to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback and deliver approved copy on schedule.
  • Apply editorial standards for readability, inclusive language, accessibility and compliant presentation of promotional claims.
  • Use research, search performance, customer insights and testing results to improve copy effectiveness and recommend content enhancements.
  • Use AI-assisted writing and research tools responsibly to accelerate ideation and drafting while independently verifying accuracy, originality and brand fit.
  • Support content refreshes and publishing handoffs, including basic CMS-ready formatting and editorial quality assurance.
  • Contribute to shared style guides, messaging libraries and reusable content patterns; support evolving team priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of professional copywriting or content writing experience, ideally for digital marketing or consumer-facing brands.
  • Portfolio demonstrating clear, persuasive, audience-specific writing across web pages or digital campaigns.
  • Strong editing, proofreading and fact-checking skills, including the ability to simplify technical or regulated subject matter.
