We are partnered with a large global company seeking a Treasury Analyst on a temp to hire basis. The role is hybrid in Torrance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze foreign currency exposures and support FX risk management and hedging strategies
- Evaluate derivative transactions and monitor hedge performance
- Perform financial analysis and modeling to support treasury and risk-management decisions
- Monitor currency markets and partner with banking relationships on FX activity
- Support trade confirmations, settlements, and other treasury operations
- Assist with cash forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury reporting
- Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, exposures, and potential risks
- Maintain and improve treasury policies, procedures, controls, and reporting
- Identify opportunities to automate treasury workflows and improve data accuracy
- Support treasury systems, technology, and broader process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, finance, or a related analytical function
- Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets and currency risk
- Experience with derivatives, hedging, or FX transactions preferred
- Strong financial modeling and quantitative analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with cash forecasting, cash management, or treasury operations
- Ability to analyze large and complex financial datasets
- Experience working with banking partners and financial markets is preferred
- Multinational or global treasury experience is a plus
- Treasury systems, automation, or process improvement experience is highly valued
