We are seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale production-grade AI services, agentic workflows, and middleware platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on developing reliable, cloud-native systems that enable AI-driven business capabilities, with a strong emphasis on backend engineering, distributed systems, and GenAI technologies.

• Pay range :$90/hr on w2 to $96/hr on w2

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI microservices using Java, Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript in Kubernetes environments.

• Build and maintain scalable APIs, event-driven services, and distributed systems using technologies such as Kafka, SNS/SQS, and EventBridge.

• Collaborate with product managers, platform teams, and machine learning engineers to deliver business-ready AI solutions.

• Design AI middleware, API gateways, and integration layers that securely expose enterprise systems and data to AI agents.

• Develop and manage agentic workflows using platforms such as LangGraph and LangChain, including orchestration, context routing, and tool execution.

• Implement observability, tracing, audit logging, governance controls, human approval mechanisms, and fallback workflows.

• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical planning, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

• Mentor engineers and stay current with emerging AI, LLM, and agent framework technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of backend or systems engineering experience, including 3+ years building AI-enabled or workflow-driven platforms.

• Strong expertise in Java or Kotlin, with deep knowledge of scalable backend systems, testing, and observability.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CDK.

• Experience building APIs, microservices, and workflow orchestration platforms.

• Strong communication skills with proven technical leadership experience in cross-functional environments.

Preferred:

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar GenAI frameworks.

• Knowledge of media, entertainment, localization, content operations, or post-production workflows.

• Experience with Spring Framework and multi-tenant platform architectures.

• Familiarity with Agile development, DevOps automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Contributions to AI/ML infrastructure tooling or open-source GenAI projects.
